Introduction

Welcome back!

Thank you for enrolling in the next level, armed with this knowledge you can save time and money simply by understanding how the more complex on board electrical equipment works, and how to spot early warning signs before they become expensive, or potentially dangerous faults.

There's a big change on the level 2!

The level 2 course is graded and as such each section must be fully complete before proceeding with the next. If you find a lecture content is locked please make sure any preceding quizzes have been completed before trying to move on to the next section.

Once you have completed a section -please click on the:

tab in the top right in order to proceed with the course.

The purpose of this course is to help boat and yacht owners, skippers and crew better understand and maintain the onboard electrical system and be able to prevent, find, and fix simple faults. This knowledge will enable you to have a more balanced exchange and a more pro-active relationship with your professional marine electrician, allocating on board funds for electrical safety inspections, improvements and preventative maintenance, rather than just constantly reacting to faults.

I'm here to help, so if you get stuck along the way, have any questions, or if there's some other electrical equipment you'd like to see included in the course, you can email me directly at:

In order to proceed with the course please answer the quiz question below.
